Rep. Ritchie Torres is calling for an investigation into the Hochul administration's alleged rigging of bids for New York's $9 billion home care Medicaid program.
Torres claims the awarding of the massive contract to Public Partnerships LLC was exempt from state Comptroller review, suggesting the administration might be hiding something.
He referenced a sworn affidavit from home care provider Carlos Martinez which implies that the contract's award was known before the bidding process began.
Torres suggested the actions of the Hochul administration could indicate corruption, stating, 'There may be something rotten in the state of New York' under her leadership.
