A driver of a stolen white Porsche was shot and killed by police in Brooklyn after nearly colliding with an NYPD officer at a roadblock. The suspect, previously charged in a multi-state car theft operation, was pursued after officers spotted the suspicious vehicle with stolen license plates. During the pursuit, the driver veered towards a police roadblock where an officer shot him after he almost struck him. The driver crashed into another police car and was later pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital.
Ultimately, the suspect, who had a passenger in the car, refused to stop and was involved in a high-speed pursuit on the Belt Parkway.
