The figures are calculated by taking the cost of $1,650 per migrant traveler times the number of them sent to places like Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Denver and Los Angeles, according to WLS-TV.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams last week said his city is suing at least 17 charter bus companies for over $700 million - an amount the city argues the companies should have already paid for the 33,600 migrants transported to NYC.
