Last Thursday, Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson partnered with the New York State Department of Labor for the second annual Bronx Career Fair in the Rotunda of Bronx Borough Hall where over 500 job seekers registered to meet with recruiters.
While the latest figures show unemployment in the county at 6.60%, down from 6.9% in 2022 and 10.30% in 2021, the goal of this event was to connect job seekers with potential employers.
