What Mayor Adams faces is selective prosecution and political persecution. In short: lawfare. The indictment is a warning to others: Do not criticize the Biden-Harris administration.
Adams spoke against President Biden, and he has now been indicted. Other politicians have had much worse corruption allegations levied against them and have largely survived unscathed.
Hunter Biden was coddled by the FBI and Department of Justice over several charges, while the same government entities did all they could to crucify Mayor Adams.
Once upon a time in America, the phrase 'we await due process before passing judgment' meant something. Now, public officials are bypassing due process entirely.
