The early-morning attack on the New York State Bill Drafting Commission disrupted the budget process, potentially slowing down the agreement on the state budget, now 16 days late.
Gov. Kathy Hochul mentioned that the cyberattack would force the state to use computer systems from the early '90s, reverting to a more antiquated system from 1994.
