Policies against antisemitism at NYC colleges improved this year

According to the Anti-Defamation League's second-annual Campus Antisemitism Report Card, NYC colleges are making strides in combating antisemitism. Eight schools, including CUNY's Brooklyn College and Queens College, received A grades for their initiatives and improvement over the past year. The report evaluated 135 colleges based on administrative policies, campus conduct, and Jewish life. CUNY’s efforts have increased following a surge in antisemitic incidents amid the Israel-Hamas conflict. They launched the Center for Inclusive Excellence and Belonging to promote understanding among diverse communities on campus while rectifying previous discrimination complaints.
