On June 9, two men disguised as Amazon delivery workers invaded a home in Queens, tying up a family of five and stealing approximately $16,000 in valuables. The men entered under the pretense of delivering a package, then brandished firearms to control the victims, who included both adults and children. After ransacking the house and taking items like jewelry and electronics, they fled in the victims' vehicle, which was later abandoned by police. The NYPD is soliciting public assistance in identifying the suspects through released surveillance images at the scene.
The pair used the guise to enter the home before brandishing firearms and forcing the homeowners into the basement, binding them with duct tape.
The men made their getaway in the homeowners' car, which was later found abandoned just a few blocks away.
