Toronto police are seeking the public’s help to locate 14-year-old Esther, missing for more than three days. She was last seen around 11:15 p.m. Friday in the Earl Bales Park area in North York. Police are concerned for her safety and ask residents to review nearby footage, including backyard, sheds, and surveillance camera recordings. Esther is described as a white female, five feet two inches tall with a medium build and brown hair. She was last seen wearing grey sweatpants and a green shirt. Her mother appealed directly for Esther to come home and contact someone to confirm she is safe. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
"Parents of a missing 14-year-old joined Toronto police to ask for the public's help in locating the girl, named Esther, who has been missing for over three days. Esther was last seen around 11:15 p.m. Friday in the area of Earl Bales Park in North York, Toronto police Deputy Insp. Peter Wallace said at a news conference on Tuesday at the command post near the park. He said police are concerned for Esther's safety."
"The girl's parents pleaded for those in the area to check any footage they may have. As a mother, there is no pain worse than not knowing where your child is or whether she is safe, Esther's mother said. Esther is described as female, white, and five feet two inches with a medium build and brown hair, Wallace said. She was last seen wearing grey sweatpants and a green shirt."
"Please check your backyard, if you reside in this area, your sheds and also your surveillance camera, Wallace said. Her mother described her as kind, social and said she talks to everyone and makes friends everywhere she goes. At one point, Esther's mother appealed to her daughter directly asking her to reach out to anyone to let them know she's safe."
"Esti, my love, if you are watching this, please come home, she said. We love you so very much and we miss you terribly. Nobody is angry with you no matter what has happened. All we care about is knowing that you are okay, she said. Anyone with information is asked to contact police."
