Mom of missing Long Island candidate pleads to 'bring my boy home' as search grows bleak
Briefly

Maria Lo Krommidas, the mother of missing Democratic candidate Petros Krommidas, has made an emotional plea for assistance in the search for her son. He disappeared while training for a triathlon off Long Beach on April 23. Despite efforts from numerous volunteers and police using drones, there have been no new leads since his car and towel were discovered. In a heartfelt social media statement, Maria thanked supporters for their love and urged them not to give up hope in finding her son.
It's been 12 days without knowing where he is. I can't thank you all enough for all your efforts and time for all the love, prayers and support BUT I'm asking you, PLEASE DON'T STOP SEARCHING, DON'T GIVE UP ON HIM.
Maria Lo Krommidas shared tide charts for Monday and Tuesday for volunteers aiding in the search, urging them to please help bring her boy home.
