A group of teenagers from upstate New York, including a police chief's son, acted heroically after noticing a house fire while returning from prom. Aiden Kane and his friends immediately sprang into action, delivering a message of urgency to alert the family trapped inside. With Kane banging on the door and urging the family to evacuate, his friend Donato called 911 while Tyler checked for any occupants in the garage. The video captures the intensity of their rescue efforts, highlighting their bravery as they ensured the safety of the family as flames engulfed the house.
"Donato immediately called 911, Tyler ran towards the garage to check it out and I ran up to the door and started pounding on it," he said.
"Your house is on fire, your house is on fire," Kane shouts in the clip. "It's on fire."
"You're ok, you're ok," he says as the children shriek. "Just walk over here, come here. You're ok."
"When I was near the fire, I could hear it, almost like a crackling sound, and it was really intense," said Kane, describing the scene.
