Joined by political allies and community members, Holden highlighted the facility's location close to residential areas and community spaces like daycare centers and animal hospitals. He emphasized the urgent need to fight against such proposals, framing it as part of a broader citywide issue, while also mentioning ongoing legal actions against the project.
So many people will be affected. The children, the parents, the homeowners who live close to this facility. We have to fight back. They are always shoving these kinds of places at us. This is very, very dangerous.
This is a citywide problem that the City of Yes brought us, and the way we've been very successful in winning lawsuits recently with our Common Sense Caucus.
