Miya Folick, an artist known for her unique sound, found inspiration for her latest album, Erotica Veronica, during long walks around Los Angeles. Despite the city's reputation for being less walkable, these walks allowed her to clear her mind and rejuvenate her creativity after a demanding tour with notable acts like Mitski and Faye Webster. Over six weeks, Folick wrote the album primarily on acoustic guitar and embraced the creative process by producing the album herself. She also performed a mini-concert for World Cafe, showcasing her new work.
