The Palo Alto Philharmonic will showcase Yuko Uebayashi’s Flute Concerto, featuring Ráyo Furuta, alongside Beethoven’s iconic Symphony No. 5, known as the Fate Symphony.
Ráyo Furuta, a professor at San Jose State University, is celebrated as the Rockstar of the Flute, showcasing remarkable skill as a leading flutist.
The concert includes a 7pm pre-concert talk that provides historical and cultural context for both the Flute Concerto and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5.
