Manhattan’s waterfront offers a range of summer events across multiple locations. Inwood Canoe Club holds free guided 20-minute kayak trips on the Hudson River near the George Washington Bridge during open Sundays through Sept. 6. The South Street Seaport features Sea Chanteys and Maritime Music on the first Sundays through November aboard the Wavertree Ship, with access requiring stairs and a gangway. A printing workshop at 211 Water St lets participants set type with historical fonts, mix ink, cut paper, and print customized notecards using a 19th-century press on the last weekend of each month. Hudson River Park hosts Youth Pride Fest on June 6 and Jazz at Pier 84 on Wednesdays from June 17 through Aug. 12, with free performances by local legends.
