NJZ Unveils New Song, New Hiatus at ComplexCon
Briefly

This weekend, NJZ faced ups and downs, headlining ComplexCon in Hong Kong, releasing a new single, then announcing a pause in activities due to legal battles with their former label, ADOR. They respect the court's recent injunction preventing them from rebranding as NJZ until the legal matter about New Jeans ownership is resolved. The court case is ongoing, with final rulings not expected until April 3, causing uncertainty around future performances. The band remains optimistic despite their current setbacks and assures fans they will return.
Out of respect for the court's decision, we've decided to pause all our activities for now. This might be our last performance for a little while.
That doesn't mean we're going to give up... it's just us taking a step back to pause.
This injunction will hold until the court's final ruling on who owns New Jeans. That trial is set to start April 3.
NJZ has been battling their former (or possibly current, that's for the courts to decide) label ADOR and its parent company HYBE since November 2024.
