Louis CK, embroiled in controversy since admitting to sexual misconduct in 2017, is staging a comeback with his international 'Ridiculous Tour' set for 2025-2026. He will perform six shows in New York, including at Brooklyn's Kings Theatre and Beacon Theatre. Despite past controversies, CK has received accolades, such as a Grammy for his album 'Sincerely Louis CK.' In 2024, a documentary titled 'Sorry/Not Sorry' discussed his missteps. "Simply, I'm hitting the road again and staying out there for a long while. I am, after all, a professional stand-up comedian," he said in an email to fans.
In the years since his fall from grace, the Washington, D.C. native was awarded a Grammy Award for his 2020 album 'Sincerely Louis CK' as well as a nomination for 2021's 'Sorry,' headlined an international tour and played Madison Square Garden in January 2023.
Co-directors Cara Mones and Caroline Suh released the documentary 'Sorry/Not Sorry' about his transgressions in 2024.
