Michael Rubin's journey to becoming a musician began with a simple suggestion from his father while playing Guitar Hero. This led him to start various bands, ultimately culminating in the formation of King Falcon in 2020. Currently featuring a strong lineup, including Rubin as lead guitarist, the band has opened for notable acts like The Struts and Sublime with Rome. They are set to release a highly anticipated new song, 'Plastic Crown,' which marks a significant milestone in their evolving musical collaboration.
I got started because I used to play Guitar Hero. And one day, my dad was like, how about you just pick up a real guitar and quit wasting your time.
I feel very fortunate to have all the guys in the band now, and they sort of fell in at the right time. I feel like I assembled The Avengers.
It was packed. And the craziest part for me is... I was looking out and everyone knew the songs.
[It's] the one that we're really excited about because it's the first song that we’re putting out with this group of guys.
