A month-long countdown on Taylor Swift’s website ended, followed by international billboards showing “TS” in a Toy Story-style font with thirteen clouds. Pixar captioned one billboard post using a lyric from “Shake It Off,” and streaming platforms updated the 1989 (Taylor’s Version) cover from seagulls to clouds. In a recent New Heights bonus episode, Swift’s fiancé and future brother-in-law referenced Buzz Lightyear and Randy Newman. TS5 director Andrew Stanton said the end-credits song during mixing was not Taylor Swift, while leaving open the possibility of a song elsewhere in the film.
"“It surprised us. What a freakin' honor,” he told . “The sad truth is we watched the movie being mixed last week and the song on the end was not Taylor Swift.”"
