Sandra Hall, an 80-year-old former singer with dementia, went missing for five days after separating from her caretaker at the Atlantic Terminal Mall in Brooklyn. She took an uptown 2 train after slipping through a turnstile, concerning her family who were worried about her condition. The NYPD requested public assistance in locating her. Hall was found at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where she had been taken on the same day she went missing but was unidentified until now. Her family confirmed she is doing well after the distressing ordeal.
