An exhibition at Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) will display Janette Beckman’s photographs for nearly four decades until 18 April 2027. The show, Rebels + Icons: The Photography of Janette Beckman, features more than 700 archival and newly taken images. The collection includes iconic photographs of musical legends such as Salt-N-Pepa and Run-DMC. The exhibit also includes striking street photography, including Girl, Coney Island, Brooklyn, 2024. The photographs present a broad range of subjects and styles across Beckman’s long career.
