Brooklyn has a new magic show for those who can find it
Briefly

In Carroll Gardens, magician Greg Dubin has transformed an old storefront into a speakeasy magic venue called 'Magic at the Clock Shop', hidden behind a faux watch repair shop. Since opening on April Fool's Day, the 90-minute show has captivated audiences, regularly selling out. The intimate setup features vintage decor, and Dubin promotes it through unique guerrilla marketing strategies. Many local residents appreciate having an adult entertainment option in the area, enhancing their neighborhood's social scene and drawing attention to Carroll Gardens as a vibrant place to live and gather.
I just started to see all of these magic venues opening around the city and I said, 'Why not me? Let's do it. It's my time.'
It was a great excuse to get all of our friends to come to our neighborhood and hang out with us instead of us going to the suburbs.
I liked the DIY feel, like how he was doing all the tech just on his phone.
The show has since regularly sold out, and what was supposed to be a one-month residency has now been extended at least through the end of May.
