Pianist Sandra Mogensen highlighted the sparkly, wonderful, and vibrant qualities of Martines's piano music, encouraging the performance of her works. She founded Piano Music She Wrote, aiming to promote public domain piano music by women.
Elizabeth Schauer led a performance of Martines's Mass No. 3, expressing astonishment at the beauty of the work composed by Martines at the young age of 17. The new score was reconstructed by James Higgs from original manuscripts.
