New pizza-box-specific trash bins to appear in NYC parks
Briefly

NYC Parks Commissioner Sue Donoghue announced new bins for empty pizza boxes to alleviate trash overflow and reduce food sources for rodents in city parks.
The initiative allows visitors to simply slide their empty pizza boxes into a dedicated container, making disposal easier and maintaining cleanliness in public spaces.
According to Parks, separating food waste and empty pizza boxes will also lessen the food sources available to area rodents, supporting a cleaner park environment.
We all know that you shouldn't try to fit a square peg into a round hole, which is why we're deploying special trash cans just for pizza boxes.
