Mack Hansen: 'Everyone thinks drinking is taboo and that we should be switched on the whole time. With Ireland, nobody feels bad about having a good time'
Briefly

In the typically tight-lipped world of sport, Connacht and Ireland star Mack Hansen is refreshingly unfiltered. Having moved to Galway from his native Australia, he's determined to enjoy himself on and off the pitch - and after a period of injury, he knows there's more to life than rugby.
With a baseball cap covering his bleached blonde mane, Mack Hansen is hard to miss. The Connacht and Ireland rugby winger arrives at Galway's Huntsman Inn in T-shirt and shorts and he gets quite a few glances.
Asked about being one of the most recognisable faces in town, he demurs. "Bundee [Aki] is another level," Hansen insists. "If Brad Pitt came to town, and him and Bundee were walking down Shop Street, people would be flocking around, asking Bundee for photos. It's crazy. People just love him, down here."
