I tried 43 of Trader Joe's fall foods, and would buy at least 31 of them again
Briefly

The pumpkin tortilla chips mostly tasted like an ordinary multigrain tortilla chip with a very subtle hint of nutmeg. I wasn't sure what to pair them with since they were seasoned with flavors I usually associate with dessert. In the end, I found they were a perfect match for the fall-themed dips I purchased, like the pepita salsa. My next plan is to crumble them over butternut squash soup to hopefully bring out their nutmeg flavor.
Apple-cider doughnuts always remind me of fall, so I was excited to see Trader Joe's bakery selling them. A healthy dusting of cinnamon-sugar coated these doughy rings. Sadly, these doughnuts tasted dry and stale. I felt the apple-cider flavor was weak, reminding me that sometimes nostalgia doesn’t translate well into reality; a beloved treat can often turn out disappointing in execution.
