"As alleged, the defendant trafficked women from out of state, including a minor, to serve as commercial sex workers for him at the notorious Penn Track in East New York, Brooklyn," U.S. Attorney Breon Peace said. "My Office is working diligently with our local and federal law enforcement partners to shut down this blight on our district where vulnerable victims are callously exploited by people like the defendant and the customers who patronize this location."
Facey, with a history of violent threats, allegedly used coercion and force to control his victims, recruiting them from out of state and making them work at the open-air sex market. In one disturbing incident captured on social media, Facey threatened a woman, stating, "I got hoes out here that'll beat you up right now," before two individuals emerged from his car and attacked the victim.
The "Penn Track" is an open-air sex market in East New York, notorious for prostitution and associated criminal activities, and named after Pennsylvania Avenue, which runs through the neighborhood.
During the arrest, authorities found an unloaded 9-millimeter handgun, live ammunition hidden in an air fryer, and what appeared to be cocaine scattered across the bathroom floor. Nearly $3,000 in cash was also discovered.
