SeltzerFest 2025, held at Industry City, drew over 600 attendees to celebrate seltzer culture, showcasing creativity and joy. The event featured the Golden Siphon competition won by The Brooklyn Farmacy and included awards for excellence in bubbly. Attendees enjoyed interactive booths and a variety of programs, including discussions on Jewish bubbly traditions and a performance of Klezmer music. Notably, Walter Backerman received the Spirit of Eli Award, recognizing his contributions to seltzer delivery. The festival marked an important gathering for fans and artisans alike.
"We were overwhelmed by today's turn-out and the level of creativity brought to the event by all of the contestants as well as the dozens of exhibitors throughout the room," said Barry Joseph.
The festival also included the inaugural SeltzerFest Seltzer Awards, celebrating the best in bubbly, and a full slate of interactive events and vendor booths.
