DC's 'Doggie Day Swim' is an annual event happening this Saturday, September 7, allowing dogs to splash and socialize in four outdoor pools.
The event provides dogs a unique opportunity to cool off and socialize while their human counterparts can enjoy open pools and spray parks in other locations.
To participate in the 'Doggie Day Swim,' dogs must be current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and possess a valid DC Health-issued dog license for entry.
Although the pools are closed for the season, the 'Doggie Day Swim' serves as an adorable photo opportunity and allows dogs to play aquatic games.
