Trendy NYC bathhouse plagued by grime, mold and worms, ex-workers say - as claims of pool infections go viral
Briefly

Former employees at Bathhouse, a popular NYC spa, have described appalling sanitation conditions, including mold, worms, and overheating that allegedly made them sick. Their concerns come after visitors posted on Reddit, reporting urinary tract infections after using the spa. Bathhouse's owners vehemently deny these accusations, asserting that they've never had mold issues and regularly clean the facilities. A video also revealed worms on the floor, heightening allegations against the spa, which serves up to 4,000 customers weekly and employs a unique bitcoin mining heating system. The Department of Health found no evidence supporting the complaints.
I noticed the hot tub and body temp tub were looking kinda dirty and gross. I thought it would be fine, but then I ended up with a UTI.
Most of the wild claims have been targeted at the location in hipster Brooklyn - and video obtained by the Post showed small worms crawling on the floor of the place.
We've passed inspections and have maintained that the worms are a part of the grime that comes from professional scheduled quarterly cleanings.
