Urban Cowboy Lodge in New York's Catskills has expanded by acquiring the adjacent Slide Mountain Inn, now rebranded as Urban Cowboy Lodge & Resort. The resort features 44 rooms, including two new standalone houses equipped with kitchens. New amenities include a pool, bowling alley, shuffleboard, tennis courts, and an arcade. Co-founder Lyon Porter expressed the goal to honor the original establishment while adding comforting, Western-themed decor, emphasizing an affordable pricing strategy without extensive renovations, thus enhancing the guest experience.
