Shangela, openly known as D.J. Pierce, is facing a new sexual assault allegation from Eric Poff, who claims Pierce assaulted him in 2017 during the filming of Hurricane Bianca 2. Poff alleges he blacked out after consuming spiked drinks, waking up to find he was being assaulted, both by an unknown individual and by Pierce. This accusation follows previous claims from others, making Poff the seventh person to allege sexual misconduct against Pierce. The unfolding legal situation reflects broader concerns about sexual assault in the entertainment industry as it gains media attention.
According to the complaint, Pierce watched this happen before allegedly also anally penetrating Poff without consent.
I let him know, 'Hey, I know what you did, and you know what you did, and I believe all those boys' stories,' Poff said.
Poff is the seventh person to level allegations of sexual assault against Pierce.
The suit was permanently dismissed on March 13, 2024.
