Caribbean Life hosted its annual Impact Awards at Terrace on the Park, honoring 37 individuals for their noteworthy contributions to society. The event attracted a sold-out crowd of 400 attendees who showcased their pride through national flags and celebratory dancing. Recognizing excellence across diverse fields from healthcare to the arts, the awards highlight the impactful work of Caribbean Americans. Proceeds from the event's raffle will support The Trinbago Progressive Association of the U.S.A. Prominent sponsors included TD Bank and EmblemHealth, affirming the significance of this cultural celebration.
"We are pleased to acknowledge the many extraordinary achievements of the Caribbean Americans we are honoring tonight, who continue to significantly impact life in the United States, particularly New York," said Victoria Schneps-Yunis, CEO and publisher of Schneps Media, Caribbean Life's parent company.
"These hard-working and dedicated individuals have been so successful because they have a passion for what they do," she added. "They have positioned themselves as major players, who have positively influenced our city every day. It is my privilege to honor them tonight."
