A significant law enforcement operation occurred in Colorado Springs when over 300 federal agents raided an illegal after-hours nightclub. The raid, which involved multiple agencies, resulted in over 100 arrests, primarily of undocumented immigrants, as well as numerous firearms and large quantities of drugs, including a new variant known as pink cocaine. Some of those detained included active-duty military personnel. The operation aimed to address ongoing criminal activities associated with the nightclub, including drug trafficking and prostitution, contributing to community safety efforts.
The nightclub had been under investigation for several months for alleged activities including drug trafficking, prostitution and crimes of violence.
Jonathan Pullen, the DEA agent in charge, told reporters at a news conference that some detained service members were patrons while others were working as armed security guards.
The DEA Rocky Mountain division posted a video showcasing the partygoers with their hands up and another showing individuals fleeing the venue.
Pullen added: Colorado Springs is waking up to a safer community today, after over 100 arrests and significant drug seizures.
