Jonas Brothers Reveal Baby's Gender at a Concert, Baby Gets a Very JoBro Name
""The moment she knew she she was pregnant, she told me, 'I want the gender reveal to be in the Jonas Brothers concert,'" Carvalho laughs. "I was like, 'Well, calm down!' Don't create a lot of expectation, because it's difficult to work out.""
""The Jonas Brothers have a special place in our heart, in all our stories of our family." Patricia Leda tells TODAY.com from São Paulo via video interview. "It's a crazy journey," Leda says, describing how the band has been part of major milestones."
""Brazilian fans are the best fans in the world, and they mentioned it a lot," she says. Leda happens to be the host of a Brazilian show on Disney+, and hundreds of her followers shared her post and tagged each of the Jonas Brothers."
""Then in the middle of the show, a girl from the Jo""
A Brazilian couple, Patricia Leda and Lucas Carvalho, have long been Jonas Brothers fans. Leda attended a concert in 2009 and encouraged Carvalho to become a fan. In 2024, during a trip to New York for a Jonas Brothers show, Carvalho proposed. In 2025, after buying tickets for the JoBros Greetings From Your Hometown tour in New Jersey, the couple discovered they were pregnant. Leda wanted the gender reveal to happen during a Jonas Brothers concert, and they created a sign asking the band to reveal their baby’s gender. Leda posted about it on Instagram, and followers tagged the band. A social media manager contacted them during the show, and the band ultimately participated in the gender reveal. Their baby boy, born in 2025, was named Joseph in honor of Joe Jonas.
