Jennifer Coolidge parties with Drag Race stars at gay resort launch
Briefly

The grand opening of The Tryst, a new LGBTQ+ hotel in Puerto Vallarta, saw a star-studded celebration with notable figures like Jennifer Coolidge and Demi Lovato attending. Founder Tristan Schukraft envisioned the hotel as a 'love letter to queer joy,' featuring vibrant events such as DJ sets by Drag Race stars and a rooftop pool party. The hotel's design boasts 53 luxurious rooms and aims to provide a space that is unapologetically gay and glamorous. Plans for expansion include a Fire Island venue and redevelopment of a San Juan location in 2026.
I wanted to create the kind of hotel I was always searching for, where the cocktails are cold, the men are hot, and you can wear the tiniest swimsuit you own without a second glance.
Our grand opening weekend was everything a gay luxury hotel should be: drag queens diving into the pool, DJs lighting up the rooftop, and a sea of friends (and future friends) around every corner.
The Tryst is unapologetically gay, effortlessly glamorous and built for men who crave the finer things... with just the right amount of mischief.
The Tryst is located in the heart of Puerto Vallarta's Zona Romántica. Designed by the award-winning team behind the Four Seasons Tamarindo, it features 53 guest rooms and suites.
