A Polish Catholic priest has been sentenced to 18 months in prison after investigation into an August 30, 2023, gay adult play party in his apartment where a sex worker overdosed and was 'mutilated.'
Father Tomasz Zmarzły was convicted of sexual offenses, drug supply, and failure to assist a person in danger at the party held in Dabrowa Gornicza.
The local diocese stated that Zmarzły breached 'very serious violations of moral norms' by engaging in sex, administering drugs, and not upholding his priestly responsibilities.
Zmarzły denied the allegations, claiming the incident was blown out of proportion as part of an attack on the church and its members to undermine their integrity.
