'American Idol' judge Luke Bryan makes wishes come true again! He reunites with a Make-A-Wish alumni
"When I think about what Luke Bryan has done, that just shows that he must be in alignment with what he values and how he values people, and serving others around him with what he has, and the opportunity to impact and influence people like that."
"They're going through, rough days, tough days. And, the fact that we have the ability to maybe flip the narrative and let them have a great day out on the road or coming backstage, is something I've always really cherished."
April is World Wish Month and Disney's Week of Wishes. Disney and Make-A-Wish have collaborated for over 45 years, granting wishes to over 170,000 children with critical illnesses. Luke Bryan reunited with Make-A-Wish alumni Ashley Persson, who met him over a decade ago after finishing cancer treatment. Persson expressed admiration for Bryan's values and impact. Bryan cherishes the opportunity to provide joy to children facing tough times, having granted more than 50 wishes himself. Persson has been cancer-free for 11 years.
