In Redwood City, California, two 13-year-old boys are suspected of assault and committing a hate crime after throwing fireworks and hurling homophobic slurs at attendees of a Pride event. While the suspects fled before police arrived, they were later apprehended and taken to the San Mateo County Youth Services Center.
