Brandon Boyd: Incubus' new album is done and will likely be released in October
Briefly

Incubus is preparing to release their first full-length album in eight years in 2025. Lead singer Brandon Boyd shared that the album is already recorded, mixed, and mastered. However, fans will have to wait until October 2025 for its release due to promotional activities. Boyd expressed frustration with today's music landscape, where new releases often get lost online, and highlighted the team's experience working with longtime producer Brendan O'Brien. He also introduced new bassist Nicole Row, marking her debut on the album.
We actually finished the album, I guess about, a little over two months ago, and it's like mastered, it's mixed, it's just ready to go.
The sad part about finishing the album in this day and age is that, as much as I would like to just put it out; I would love to put it out tomorrow.
When an album comes together, like quickly, it means that we have gotten into a flow state of sorts.
He's my favorite producer that I've ever worked with, and I'm so happy that we got to re-engage with him for this experience.
