Michael Archer Jr., known professionally as Swayvo Twain, is 28 and has endured the deaths of both parents within months. His mother, Angie Stone, died in March in a traffic accident in Alabama at age 63. His father, D'Angelo, died at 51 after a private battle with cancer; the family described the passing as having "been called home" after a "prolonged and courageous battle with cancer." Archer conveyed that he sat watching his father die after feeling they were finally building a relationship, that his father had been there for him following his mother’s death, and that time ran out.
