The S.E.T. (ex-Turnstile) sign to Flatspot, announce debut EP, share "T.M.T."
"Back in September, former Turnstile guitarist Brady Ebert returned to the public eye with a new band called The S.E.T. (which stands for "Self Evident Truth") when they made their live debut at a hometown Baltimore show that celebrated Lady Lila's 40th birthday and also featured Death Threat, Colin of Arabia, Naysayer, Backlash, and Ousted. Now, The S.E.T. have signed to Flatspot and announced their debut EP, Self Evident Truth, due March 6 ( pre-order)."
"The first single is a a tough, 87-second metallic hardcore song "T.M.T.," which stands for "The Motherfucking Truth." The band cites NYHC bands like Leeway and Judge, as well as Baltimore hometown heroes like Gut Instinct (whose Sebastian Gorgone appears on the song "White Lies") and Stout, as influences, and you can feel that coming through in this short but sweet new song."

Sebastian Gorgone of Gut Instinct appears on the song "White Lies." A video for "T.M.T." was produced by Rob Silver Productions, and the band has a scheduled appearance at Flatspot's Disturbin' The Peace fest in Baltimore on January 31.
