Empty Country, the new project by Joseph D'Agostino, is set to release a surprise live album named 'Live In NYC' recorded during a show with Los Campesinos! in May. This album, which captures the energy of the performance, will be officially available at midnight on July 4th. D'Agostino took on the mixing and mastering of the album and expressed pride in the performances from his bandmates, highlighting the contributions of the entire ensemble, including his wife Rachel Browne and Ted Bradley. He conveyed his excitement and gratitude for the collaboration within the band.
Empty Country, the newer project of former Cymbals Eat Guitars leader Joseph D'Agostino, opened for fellow Stereogum-beloved rockers Los Campesinos! back in May at the Brooklyn Monarch.
D'Agostino mixed and mastered the album himself, stating he is proud of the collaborative dynamic and performances of his band members.
