Sparks, the musical duo of Ron and Russell Mael, have always intertwined their music with strong visual art, evident from their extensive album covers. The brothers expressed that visuals are essential to their work, creating what they term a unified aesthetic. Their appreciation for film influences their artistic choices, as they treat their music like cinematic experiences. They shared anecdotes about their early DIY approach to album design, highlighting a blend of innocence and ambition in their journey as musicians.
