Sombr Reveals He Chipped His Tooth for the Third Time During Brooklyn Concert: 'That's How Much I Love You New York'
"Let's f---ing go. That means this is a good show,"
"That's how much I love you New York. That's how much I love you. I chipped my tooth for you, and then they still tried cancel me."
"On my last tour of North America, I chipped my tooth twice. The first time in Los Angeles I jumped off this ledge and I hit the mic into my tooth, like the metal mic when I landed, and it just chipped right away,"
"Something felt weird, and I just felt a hole in between my two teeth, and I started freaking out. We were all running on stage searching for it,"
Sombr, 20, whose real name is Shane Michael Boose, chipped his tooth for the third time during his Nov. 5 show at Brooklyn Steel after performing "Come Closer." He told the crowd the mishap meant it was a good show and expressed love for New York, saying he chipped his tooth for the city and that people still tried to cancel him. He previously posted a TikTok showing his tooth falling out while performing "Back to Friends" and captioned it "should I keep it?" He described two earlier chipping incidents on a North America tour, including a Los Angeles fall where a mic struck his tooth.
