"Milwaukee trio Snag's 2023 split with Coma Regalia was a screamo release we loved that year, and they've now signed to Deathwish and announced a new album, All The Cages Holding Us Will One Day Turn to Dust, due out July 10. They worked on it with engineer Nick Elert, and guitarist and vocalist Samm Szymborski says, "Musically, the album is punishing at moments; fast and heavy but also soft and beautiful. We wanted to write something that spans all things musically that we are interested in. We wanted to write an album that goes straight to the point and represents Snag as a whole.""
""After going through some mental health struggles this past year, and being in a relationship with someone who is chronically ill, being part of writing this album has helped me through some of those struggles," drummer and vocalist Bryan Wysocki adds. "The album is an odyssey through all the cages one may be trapped in whether it be physically, mentally, as a product of society or as a product of our own being.""

Milwaukee trio Snag released a 2023 screamo split with Coma Regalia and has now signed to Deathwish. A new album, All The Cages Holding Us Will One Day Turn to Dust, is scheduled for release on July 10. The band worked with engineer Nick Elert on the record. Guitarist and vocalist Samm Szymborski describes the music as punishing at moments, combining fast and heavy passages with soft and beautiful sections. The album aims to span multiple musical interests while staying direct and representative of Snag as a whole. Drummer and vocalist Bryan Wysocki frames the album as an odyssey through physical, mental, societal, and self-made cages, shaped by mental health struggles and a relationship with someone chronically ill. The first single, “Debilitated,” is available along with cover art and a tracklist.
