Smashing Pumpkins released a 25th anniversary edition of Machina/The Machines of God that has been newly remixed and remastered, with some tracks extended and others trimmed. The reissue includes the previously unavailable track "Speed Kills." A special 80-song box set is offered at Billy Corgan's Madame Zuzu's tea shop in Highland Park, Illinois, and includes the updated Machina, Machina II/The Friends & Enemies of Modern Music, plus 32 bonus demos, outtakes, and live performances; the box set is also available online. Billy Corgan described Machina as a swan song and a labor of love. The band is finishing "The Aghori Tour" in Europe and will follow with the Rock Invasion 2025 Tour across Asia, with multiple dates listed and tickets available.

" Machina was meant as our swan song, and it was truly a labor of love to bring it to fruition, however broken we were back then," Corgan said when the reissue was announced back in June.
