Shabaka's new record signifies a departure from his known bands towards the exploration of flutes, particularly the clarinet, and other unique instruments, showcasing a variety of sonic terrains.
Since then, it has slowly changed the scope of my musical inner landscape and drawn me towards a multitude of other instruments in the flute family.
