Sasami has announced a North American tour for spring 2023 to promote her upcoming album "Blood on the Silver Screen," set to be released on March 7. She recently released a new single titled "In Love with a Memory," which features artist Clairo. This single marks a shift towards a shimmering pop sound, drawing influences from Japanese pop ballads, in contrast to her previous rock-influenced work. Sasami also reflects on her childhood inspirations for this song, particularly her experiences of singing traditional songs with her mother.
