Rough Trade, known for its dedication to music culture, is set to open a new store named Rough Trade Below at Rockefeller Center this spring. This new 4,000-square-foot space will be easily accessible, located on the rink level and facing a major subway station. Offering a variety of new and used records, CDs, and merchandise, it aims to accommodate the growing demand for music merchandise. Co-owner Stephen Godfroy emphasized the store's mission to link artists and audiences while cultivating a vibrant creative community in the heart of Manhattan.
We're extremely excited to be opening Rough Trade Below this spring, helping us further cater to the tremendous demand from music lovers across the five boroughs and beyond.
Creating a focus of counterculture in midtown Manhattan has thankfully proved to be a wildly successful move, and we look forward to creating an even stronger creative community as the year progresses.
